A Brief History of The Stratton Agency.

The Company formed in December 1998, using a spare room in house in the Terrigal area.

In March 1999 The Stratton Agency opened Rehearsal Studios in Erina. The Business was known then as the Majehr Studios.

The Studio consisted of 3 rooms, 1 large room for Groups with 4 or more members, this room also had the ability for recording sessions if required. 1 smaller room for no more than 4 Band members, another room for storing Production Equipment which was available for rent if needed.

The studios were moving along well, the 3 rooms were converted to 2 as the store room was abolished; this left 2 large rooms for Bands to Practice. The Stratton Agency then deciding to extend its reach into the world of entertainment when in December of the same year they suffered a set back when the Production Hire & Recording side of the business was abolished.

Another year rolled around and The Stratton Agency made a very important decision to move to bigger and better facilities. So in May of 2000 The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios) was born.

The studios slowly evolved with the creation of 2 purpose built rehearsal rooms, 1 of the rooms being larger than the other with the ability to doing live recordings. With the help of local tradespeople and valued staff the factory was transformed into a music studio.

As the word spread and the client base has grown, so have the services The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios) now offers. Bands are able to Hire PA systems; Guitar and Bass Amplifiers, Speakers, Lightings as well as Drum Kits. Many item are available for purchase from the front counter, including strings, accessories, as well as a wide range of refreshments

In January 2002 The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios), started offering Recording in a purpose built control room, with a vocal booth attached to room. Recording Service at The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios) currently offer Live Demo’s. The recording facilities have continued to grown over the years, with the lasted recording equipment used in a portable Pro Tools studio rig.

As the respectability of The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios), has grown over the years so to have the staff. With over 10years experience the recording staff are well known Engineers and Producers who offer the best quality of work.

In October 2002 The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios) continued to expand the rehearsal facilities to offer a third rehearsal room. This meant The Stratton Agency (Inc The Stratton Studios) now offered 3 purpose built rehearsal rooms all individually isolated and air conditioned for your comfort. This allows many artists to perform in high quality creative environment.
